Firefox 3.6 Enhancement

3:19 AM by tambuligblogger · 0 comments

I am a user of Firefox web browser for how many years not just because it is free but it's stable and fast. Lately I made an update for 3.5 version and now they are on beta mode for Firefox 3.6. Below are the enhancement that Firefox 3.6 developers have promised.

1. Built-in support for Personas, Firefox's themeing system which lets you browse through a gallery of skins and apply different ones with just a click

2. Plugin alerts: Firefox will now alert users if their plugins are out-of-date, a useful addition since older plugins can lead to performance problems and even security issues.

3. Open native videos can now be viewed full-screen

4. Drag-and-drop features: In the beta, you can drag and drop files from your computer into the browser allowing you to easily upload files from your PC to web sites.

5. Support for the WOFF font format

6. Support for CSS, DOM, HTML5, and other developer features

7. Improved JavaScript performance, overall browser responsiveness and startup time
