Toshiba Dynario fuel-cell : Portability has just begun

It is indeed unbelievable, before it is just a dream but today it becomes a reality. Toshiba will be launching its first Dynario fuel-cell for portable consumer electronics. Dynario fuel-cell is a direct methanol fuel-cell (DMFC) with dedicated fuel cartridge for on-the-go refueling and will be available first in Japan for $ 328 by this coming October 29, 2009. Dynario fuel-cell uses hybrid structure of lithium-ion battery to store energy enough to charge two typical cellphones, it has a 50ml fuel cartridges and it takes 20 seconds to fill its 14ml fuel tank with an injection of a concentrated methanol solution at which point it's ready to charge USB-connected devices.
